Tier 2 IT Service Technician
Provide advanced technical support and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and software. Troubleshoot complex issues and guide clients to resolution.
Position
Technology Coordinator — Role Detail
As a Technology Coordinator at AsystYOU Technology, you’ll serve as the primary representative for our growing presence in the region. The role blends office coordination, client relationship management, and some hands-on technical support.
You’ll act as the bridge between our centralized technical team and clients — coordinating support, maintaining strong community relationships, and providing on-site assistance when needed. This position is ideal for a highly organized, customer-focused person who’s comfortable with light technical work.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and partners
- Represent AsystYOU Technology professionally in the community
- Coordinate service requests between clients and the technical team
- Provide hands-on support at client locations when needed
- Maintain organized day-to-day operations for the regional office
- Support administrative and operational tasks for the office
- Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and internal documentation
- Help maintain accurate records and support internal reporting
- Document site visits, activities, and client interactions
- Support project coordination
- Help ensure clients receive timely communication and follow-through
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote office environment
- Basic technical aptitude and comfort working around IT equipment
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
- Professional presence when interacting with municipal and business clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment
Preferred (but not required)
- Prior experience in IT, MSP, or technical support
- Experience working with local government or business clients
- Familiarity with networking or computer hardware
- Experience with administrative, invoicing, or bookkeeping tasks
- Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks or similar platforms
Position
Tier 2 IT Service Technician — Role Detail
As an IT Service Technician at AsystYOU Technology you’ll provide advanced technical support and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and software. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues and guide clients to resolution.
The job requires a strong technical background and experience across different systems and applications. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, and you’ll be expected to keep current with new technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the networking platform
- Troubleshoot network and system issues
- Monitor active network and server infrastructure
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Administer network security measures to prevent interruptions or breaches
- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
- Cabling, racking, and equipment installation
- Document technical procedures and user guides
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a network or systems administrator
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline- and detail-oriented
- Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
